The Miami Heat aren’t having the best 2022-23 NBA season, as they’ve struggled a lot to find their rhythm and compete against the top teams in the Eastern Conference. After a remarkable prior season, the Floridians have failed to make an impact this campaign, making things hard for their fans.

While they keep trying to return to the best level, the Heat have other things to worry about, but it seems like one of the most important was figured out really quickly. After the FTX fiasco, the team didn’t have a sponsor for their arena, which led them to start a race for the naming rights of the same.

After receiving a couple of interesting offers, which included one from porn site BangBros, the Heat have come up with a solution, revealing the new name to fans, who were totally against it.

Miami Heat Gets Roasted After Announcing The New Name Of Their Arena

If you ask some of them, they would say that having a porn site sponsoring their arena would have been a lot better, but the Heat came up with a very original name that left everybody flabbergasted.

NBA Central has revealed that the new arena of the Heat will be simply called ‘The Arena,’ something that apparently made a lot of sense for the people in charge of making this huge decision.

Where you going? The Arena. Which one? The Arena. I know but which one? THE ARENA!

Missed opportunity. Name it “The Kitchen”. If you can’t handle the Heat then get out of the Kitchen.

After learning about this, many fans flooded social media to criticize the Heat and call them out for picking the most generic name they could have thought of instead of something way more interesting.

This is bad for the Heat, but it’s not like they’re really worried about it. It would be interesting to see what led them to make this decision and what happened to the offers they received from other companies. As for now, they keep trying to recover their best level and fight for a top spot in the East.

Some hope that the new name inspires the players, but fans are definitely hating it.
