James Harden’s career with the Brooklyn Nets was pretty confusing. The former MVP was brought to the Nets in hopes of winning at least a couple of NBA Championships. Additionally, Harden and co. themselves were calling their lineup scary hours.

Unfortunately, all that went down the drainage when Harden asked for a trade around the NBA trade deadline. His wish was fulfilled by the franchise as he was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for Ben Simmons.

It felt like a dream situation for both sides since the 76ers were frustrated with Simmons as well. Although Ben is yet to play a single game for the Nets, Harden has already showcased his talents to the 76ers fans.

Initially, his newly formed duo alongside Joel Embiid worked pretty well. With that thought in mind, most fans were confident that the 76ers will win against the Nets in their recent fixture.

In reality, it was the Nets who dominated the game. Moreover, James Harden had the worst game of his short career with the Sixers. He finished the game with 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. More importantly, he shot just 3-17 from the field.

At one point in the game, The Beard was just 1/10 from the field with just 3 points to his name.

Considering that the 76ers traded for Harden in order to bolster their hopes of winning the title, such a performance from him is simply unacceptable. Upon seeing the above-tagged tweet, fans reacted to it. Here are some of the best reactions to the post:

Harden might be one of the best scorers of our generation, but throughout his career, he has had an issue with performing in big games.

The 76ers’ defeat against the Nets is the most recent example of that. If the Sixers wish to win the championship, they need James to perform in such games.
