The NBA has a lot of players that are disliked by NBA fans, stars that have in some ways, become villains. Not many players can earn this distinction, but for various reasons, five players get hated more than others.

Patrick Beverley, Draymond Green, and Dillon Brooks are hated for being irritants, they play tough defense and toe the line with plays that can be considered aggressive. Ben Simmons and Rudy Gobert have both been All-Stars, but their lack of improvement and attitude has earned them haters. All of them together make the All-Hated team.

An NBA page put this together and asked fans how many games a team like this would win. And there were some interesting answers, to say the least. All these players are elite defenders but struggle to shoot and score, which is what got pointed out first.

The team is an odd mix for sure, and while their defense would win them some games, their offense would be a problem. As one fan put it, this team would likely go 41-41, while another questioned why Grayson Allen hadn’t made it. He would certainly provide some shooting.

Everyone feels the same way about this team, and another fan broke down the exact issue of why this team would never win games.

As was to be expected, there were also some shots taken at Ben Simmons about the fact that he wouldn’t even be on the court. Overall though, fans were in consensus about the issues they would face.

Other Hated NBA Players Being Added To This Team Could Make All The Difference

These aren’t the only players that get a lot of hate online, Kyrie Irving is one of the most criticized players in the NBA. Replacing Patrick Beverley with a dynamic scorer like Irving could instantly make this team a playoff contender. Russell Westbrook could also make a difference to the team with his distribution and defense, and he has gotten his fair share of hate

Kevin Durant, who some people have never forgiven for joining the 73-9 Golden State Warriors, would be the ideal replacement for Dillon Brooks or Ben Simmons. That team as constructed would struggle to score, but a roster of the 10-15 most hated players in the NBA would certainly have a shot at winning a championship.
