The NBA Christmas commercials became a pretty huge deal around the community, with many fans enjoying and remembering them every single year. We’ve seen incredible commercials over the years but there’s one that really stood out for young and old fans.

Back in 2012, the NBA released the ‘Jingle Hoops’, a commercial where Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, Stephen Curry, James Harden, and Steve Nash hit some 3-pointers to make a Christmas melody. They were really great at it, completing the notes and topping it off with Nash passing a lob to LeBron James, who viciously dunked the ball.

Many fans think this commercial deserves a new version and many have already named the players that should do it.

NBA Fans Want To See The New Generation Of Stars In Iconic Christmas Commercial

ESPN’s Twitter account recently inquired fans about who they think should recreate this iconic commercial, and fans didn’t disappoint. The NBA has many young stars right now that can emulate what these legends did in the past, and some of them were mentioned by most fans.

It would be great to see how this commercial would look with current stars. Perhaps a new melody and a longer run would make it better, but this is pure speculation. There’s no indication that the league is thinking of recreating this commercial, so this will probably be forgotten.

Still, Christmas Day is upon us and we can’t wait to see what teams will bring to the table. This Sunday, we’ll have five interesting matchups, with some potential revenges from last year’s playoffs, and duels between generational talents. Of course, some teams will be missing from this, like the Brooklyn Nets, but the ones we have will surely be entertaining.

The Los Angeles Lakers come from a painful loss against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night and they hope to bounce back against Luka Doncic and co. this Sunday.
