The Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers square off in the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs and the series promises to be an absolute blockbuster.

Both teams are filled with bonafide superstars and their scintillating form during the regular season made it tough for the fans to choose between the teams that are staking a claim for the NBA title.

One of the fans rooted for Boston to win it in Game 7.

This was seconded by another.

Philly fans weren’t far off, and they retained a certain level of realism while making their predictions.

For some, this was pretty much an ECF for both teams.

The Celtics got the better of the Sixers during the regular season winning three of their four matchups. But this is the playoffs, and given the form Boston is in, they will fancy their chances against a belligerent Sixers unit.

Jaylen Brown Is Eager To Take On The Philadelphia 76ers In The Second Round

Celtics guard Jaylen Brown made his intentions clear when he said he was ready to take on the Sixers after putting away the Atlanta Hawks in Game 6 with a 4-2 scoreline.

Speaking to the media in the aftermath of the win, “We know they’re gonna bring the fight,” Brown said. “Philly’s a tough environment to win. Their crowd gets involved in the game. It’s going to be fun. We already know they’ve got some great players in Joel Embiid, James Harden, and company, so it’s gonna be a test again. We’re gonna have to be ready to fight again. I’m up for it and I can’t wait.”

The Sixers will be looking to land their own knockout blow, and after pipping the Brooklyn Nets 4-0, they will be confident that they can take the series deeper and get the better of Boston. Both teams meet at the TD Garden in Boston for Game 1 of the thrilling series.
