Damian Lillard is without a doubt an All-NBA caliber performer. He is known for his prowess from long range, and his explosive scoring outbursts. Despite his ability, his team has been eliminated in the first round during four of the last five playoff runs. While the Portland Trail Blazers did make it to the Western Conference Finals during the 2018-19 season, it remains to be seen whether they will be able to recreate that feat any time soon.
NBA Fans have recently roasted Damian Lillard over his lack of playoff success. While his team hasn’t won big in the playoffs, Damian Lillard is definitely the least of their concerns.

Hope Damian Lillard goes to the Olympics to play with a stacked squad.

It is clear that some NBA fans were down on Damian Lillard’s defensive capabilities, as well as the fact that he and his roster underperformed for the amount of talent on the team. CJ McCollum is a great scorer, and the team has other solid players such as Jusuf Nurkic and Carmelo Anthony.
While all of this is true, Damian Lillard was the main offensive weapon for the team throughout his career and was never paired with a true All-NBA caliber player for the duration of his time in Portland. It may be time for some changes in Portland if they want to ensure that Damian Lillard has the best chance of competing.
