Kevin Porter Jr. set the alarms for NBA fans after sharing a scary post on Instagram. The 20-year-old, part of the Cleveland Cavaliers, shared a worrisome message with a black image, asking people if they ever desire to see the end of their time. This came out of nowhere and fans and other players were quick to reach out to Porter, sending him optimistic messages, encouraging him to delete the morbid post.

Porter Jr. was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the 30th overall pick last season, as he’s seen as one of the future faces of the franchise. The player posted 10 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game in his rookie season.

Nobody knows what he’s going through at this moment, but we do know that he has a teammate that has struggled with mental health and depression in the past and can offer him the best help. Kevin Love has been very outspoken on these issues and now that somebody close to him may be suffering from this, his help will be well received by the young player.

**UPDATE**

Fortunately, he deleted the post and sent a message to the fans, taking a shot at the media for making things worse than they actually are.

As you can see now, Porter is safe and healthy. It was all just a big misunderstanding.
