The Miami Heat had no answer for Nikola Jokic in their NBA Finals Game 3 loss to the Denver Nuggets.

The Denver Nuggets are walking out big winners in Miami after beating the Heat 109-94 to take a 2-1 series lead in the NBA Finals.

Nikola Jokic made history with the first-ever 30-20-10 game in the Finals as he dropped 32 points, 21 rebounds, and 10 assists in a dominant display to help the Nuggets win. Jimmy Butler led the Heat in scoring with 28 points.

Fans reacted to this incredible game as Jokic dominated the opposition.

One fan said Jokic keeps proving why he was robbed of the 2023 MVP award in favor of Joel Embiid.

Jokic is always proving why he got robbed of MVP this season

— warriorszone (@Warriorszone19) June 8, 2023

Jokic’s history-making 30-20-10 is even more significant when you see that this has only happened five times in the playoffs in history and Jokic has now done it three times.

Nikola Jokic has three 30-20-10 playoff games. Everyone else in NBA history has two such games combined.

And Jokic has the first 30-20-10 game in Finals history, too.

— Zach Kram (@zachkram) June 8, 2023

A fan wholeheartedly believes that Jokic is a top-five offensive player of all time without question.

The fact that people still think it’s crazy to call Jokic a top 5 offensive player ever is so hilarious https://t.co/v8ia2cF0aJ

More fans marveled at Jokic’s performance.

jokic so clearly best in the world at this point

he’s literally creating a gap

— Coach Rome (@Rome_Beast) June 8, 2023

Fans mocked Bam Adebayo’s defense of Jokic being ineffective.

Why am I not seeing anymore "Bam defending Jokic better than AD" tweets anymore?

— Rapha🗿 (@CapheadGuc) June 8, 2023

One fan said that Jimmy Butler needs to show up with a dominant performance and be the best player on the court.

We need a game where Jimmy is clearly the best player on the court. Obviously Jokic is better but I’ve seen Jimmy outplay Bron and Giannis. We need a “Himmy” game

— Austin (@ChefTrillie) June 8, 2023

One fan joked about Christian Braun outplaying Butler on a few possessions.

Christian Braun got Heat Culture in shambles, he looked at Jimmy Butler and said this is food.

Bam Adebayo had 22 points and 17 rebounds to keep his series of strong performances from this series alive. Jamal Murray had 34 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists, which made him and Jokic the first pair of teammates to have 30-point triple-doubles in the same game.

Miami Heat Running Out Of Answers?

It took a near-perfect fourth quarter in Game 2 for the Heat to be able to pull off a narrow win over the Nuggets to tie the series up. Games 1 and 3 have been conventional blowouts where the Heat have looked like a far inferior team to Denver. Anything can happen in the NBA playoffs, but a comeback against a team as well-organized as the Nuggets seems unlikely at this stage of the series.

The Nuggets have found answers to Miami’s zone defense that confounded them in Game 2. They also had an uncharacteristically inefficient game from Jamal Murray in Game 2 as well, with his explosion tonight helping Denver pull this one off.

Game 4 will also be in Miami, so the Heat will fight to ensure they don’t face a 3-1 deficit heading back to Denver for Game 5.
