For the last two seasons, the story has been the same for the Los Angeles Lakers. They have a poor season and either miss the playoffs or get eliminated early from the postseason. The aftermath of it is seen in the offseason.
Almost every big name who is available in the offseason is linked with the Lakers, which of course, gives hope to the franchise’s fanbase. Unfortunately, it leads to fans dreaming way too big and thinking about unrealistic starting fives that they could “potentially” have.
It’s happening once again this season. The Lakers have been constantly linked with the likes of Kyrie Irving, Bradley Beal, Deandre Ayton, etc. So fans have already started dreaming of signing these players and pairing them with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
But one fan, in particular, took it to another level. He suggested a starting five of Kyrie Irving, Bradley Beal, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Deandre Ayton.
If you think that’s unbelievable, then wait, we have some more news. The fan in question also suggested a potential bench for the team on Twitter.

Now, we hope that the fan was only joking and wanted to just piss off other people on social media. Still, some fans reacted to this outrageous take in an angry manner.

Well, in reality, there is no way that this will ever be assembled, unless each player on the team takes a massive pay cut. Regardless, adding so many star-level players to the team will likely mess up the chemistry too.
Although the Lakers won’t get all the players on the list, they might still get at least one player from it. Maybe Kyrie or Beal could join the team, considering the current rumors.
