Savannah James attended the 2023 Baby2Baby Gala on November 11 and as you might imagine, dressed up incredibly well for the occasion. A video of Savannah's from that night went viral on X as she looked absolutely stunning.
NBA fans reacted to the video and some of them did so in hilarious fashion.
One joked that this was the real reason LeBron James didn't play against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Real Reason LeBron James Missed The Game On Sunday Night
While you get a laugh out of jokes about Savannah being the reason LeBron missed the game against the Trail Blazers, the real reason was, of course, an injury. In the first quarter of the game against the Phoenix Suns on Friday, James suffered a left calf contusion.
He stayed in the game despite it and had a dominant showing, ending the night with 32 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block. While LeBron finished the game, the Los Angeles Lakers didn't want to take a risk and hence, sat him out for Sunday night.
"Darvin Ham says they don’t want to run LeBron into the ground this early in the season so they are being proactive with his shin/calf issue and sitting him out tonight. He is considered day-to-day."
The rest of the team, fortunately, stepped up and the Lakers won 116-110. L.A. will face the lowly Memphis Grizzlies next on Tuesday night and I wouldn't be surprised if he sits out for that one as well.
Savannah James' Inspirational Message For LeBron James
While I'm sure Savannah would love to have her husband around the house for a lot longer than he is now, she isn't pushing for LeBron to walk away from the game. The 38-year-old is now in his 21st season in the NBA and she actually wants him to keep playing for a while longer.
Savannah sent an inspirational message to LeBron in the Beats commercial, where she encouraged him to aim to play with both of their sons. James has openly stated for years how his goal is to play with his son Bronny in the NBA. It was quite ambitious, as we have never had an active father-son duo in the league, but Savannah wants him to go a step further and play with Bryce as well.
Bryce could be eligible for the 2026 NBA Draft and the way LeBron is going at the moment, it isn't outrageous to think he could still be playing then. He's averaging 25.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game this season, which is ridiculous for someone in their 21st season.
While he certainly won't be playing this well three years down the road, there is no reason to think, injuries aside, why LeBron won't be good enough to play in the league along with Bryce.
