NBA Fans React To Victor Wembanyama’s New 'Tim Duncan' Haircut

Victor Wembanyama is hoping to follow in the footsteps of the great Tim Duncan by leading the San Antonio Spurs to multiple championships.

While he'd look to dominate on the court as Duncan once did, Wembanyama seems to have copied him in another way. He recently got a haircut that looks quite similar to Duncan's from his playing career and NBA fans reacted to it.

One thinks Wembanyama is looking like a young Duncan.

One fan hilariously stated that Wembanyama just needs to get a cheap Walmart shirt now to look like Duncan.

A fan joked that Wembanyama is now just 6'11" after this haircut.

The transformation into Duncan is starting one fan said.

A fan quipped that Gregg Popovich told Wembanyama to get this haircut to look like Duncan.

Well, if he goes on to have the kind of career Duncan had, with five championships, three Finals MVPs, and two MVPs, then the Spurs sure would be delighted. Wembanyama though has even higher aspirations, as he said he wants to be better than every other number one pick in history.

Brandon Miller Revealed What It Was Like To Face Victor Wembanyama

Wembanyama is unlike anything else the league has ever seen before and his first game as a Spur in the Summer League saw him face off against Brandon Miller and the Charlotte Hornets. The Frenchman didn't have the greatest of games by any means, but when Miller, the second overall pick, was asked what it was like to play against Wembanyama, he was quite complimentary.

"A lot of fun, he's definitely legit 7'6". He legit 7'6"," Miller said. "It was fun just seeing him step up to a challenge and guard me full court. I think that shows a lot of heart of who he is. He's definitely going to have a great career in the league. I think he's just a great player off the court, just willing to learn off anything."

"Every ball screen they kept switching with big men. So (I) couldn't really explain what this is," Miller said when asked to explain the matchup with Wembanyama. "I think it's (a) big-to-big switch but Victor's of course, not a big. He's like an animal, ain't no position for him."

Wembanyama followed up his mediocre debut with 27 points, 12 rebounds, three blocks, and a steal against the Portland Trail Blazers. The basketball world wanted to see even more of him after that, but the Spurs decided to shut him down for the rest of the Summer League.

He is now headed towards a pivotal summer, which he thinks will change his life as he prepares to embark on what many believe will be a legendary career.
