  • A video of LeBron James working on his game has gone viral on social media
  • LeBron James is 38 years old and going into his 21st NBA season
  • Fans think he is ready to make a push for another championship and add to his incredible legacy

LeBron James at 38 years of age is still very much the face of the NBA. The King is heading into his 21st NBA season and in a true testament to his greatness, still looks like one of the best players in the league.

An insane amount of preparation goes into LeBron James being able to dominate the way he does, and a video of his workout ahead of the 2023-24 season has gone viral.

Fans are always in awe of what LeBron James can accomplish despite his advancing age, and one fan wrote it simply.

LeBron James has four championships to his name, and he is chasing the six that Michael Jordan had as he attempts to usurp Jordan’s GOAT status. One fan thinks that the fifth is coming, too.

LeBron James has averaged 27.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game for his career. And based on this workout video, one fan thinks that’s what he’ll get during the 2023-24 season.

The Los Angeles Lakers have built a good roster around LeBron James and Anthony Davis, leaving some fans in no doubt about what’s coming up next season.

LeBron James, being in as good a shape as he is, deserves a lot of props, and it’s good to see fans giving him his flowers. If he can translate that to another championship and Finals MVP, it’s going to be hard to play his GOAT case down for too long.

LeBron James Has Sent A Message Before Entering Year 21

Only five players in NBA history have played 21 seasons in the league. And while they got to the landmark year, none of them averaged even 10.0 points per game in their 21st season.

LeBron James is almost certain to average over 20 points per game next year, and for those who are doubting him, LeBron sent a message earlier this offseason

“Don’t mean nothing. Tired is only in the mind. You tell yourself you’re tired, you’re gonna be tired. I don’t get tired.”

LeBron James is set to make more history in the league in 2023-24, but he will only have one goal in mind. For a player who has made it to 10 NBA Finals and won four of them, nothing short of a championship will satisfy LeBron James.

LeBron James’ Longevity Has Changed Basketball Forever

LeBron James being able to perform at the level that he is at his age may be marvelous, but it has also changed the game. In the past, players past 31 would be considered to be out of their prime, but that is sure not to be the case anymore.

Gilbert Arenas explained how LeBron James’ continued excellence has changed the game of basketball.

“It just puts so much pressure on people,” argued Arenas. “The fact that [LeBron] is 39 doing what he’s doing, makes 30 seem like you’re a rookie.

“Like, now we have a glimpse at what 38 and 39 are capable of doing, which means when players are looking like they’re slowing down at 31/32, I don’t know how we’d accept that anymore.”

LeBron James has had the eyes of the world on him since he turned 17 years old, and pressure is nothing new to him. He continues to work, and despite the next season being his 21st, the expectation will be that he dominate the NBA once again.
