The 2021-22 NBA season is done and dusted. The Golden State Warriors were crowned the champions of the league in an amazing fashion, and they celebrated for as long as they could. But now, the focus of fans is shifting towards next season.
Since the offseason is currently in its full flow, fans have plenty of time to debate about potential winners of the awards for the upcoming season. While it’s one thing to talk about potential NBA champions, it’s completely different from discussing who might win the 2023 NBA MVP.
At this moment, the league is certainly in safe hands, and there are a plethora of NBA superstars who have a good shot at becoming the most valuable player next season.
Popular Twitter account “Hoops Central,” asked this question in one of their recent tweets.
Who is your favorite for MVP next season?

As expected, a ton of fans decided to share their views about which player is the favorite to win the MVP next season. Here are some of the best answers posted below the aforementioned tweet:

Next season is going to be the best season the NBA in years. You cannot single out an MVP, but I will tell you this, the bar is set, Stephen Curry and Lebron James are going to have a say who rules the NBA. The competition is going to be very good.

Are they gonna keep robbing Giannis of the mvp ?????? How can a guy keep making 1st team All NBA on offense and defense and he ain’t the mvp ????????

Safe bet is Luka or one of the centers, bet I like and is more fun is Trae, could see him having a borderline prime Harden season, going for like 32 and 10 on great shooting splits. Probably gonna take the hawks being a top four seed which is tough but wouldn't surprised by him

I think Joel has a legitimate shot if he can play 50 plus games, however the man is more fragile than my grandmothers dining set so idk 🤷♂️

As expected, fans gave a lot of different answers to this million-dollar question. After all, the talent in the league is at an all-time high, and the voters will have the tough task of picking just one player among these great NBA players.
The likes of LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry would want to prove to the world that they are still some of the best players in the league. But on the other hand, there are younger players like Luka Doncic and Ja Morant who might take the trophy home.
But in all honesty, next season Joel Embiid should win the MVP award. The 76ers superstar has been playing incredibly well over the last two seasons, but both times Nikola Jokic was picked ahead of him in the MVP race.
