LeBron James remains a dominant force on the court despite being 38 years old, and if his wife Savannah James’ message during the latest Beats commercial is anything to go by, he isn’t retiring soon.

It was a great commercial featuring soccer superstar Erling Haaland as well and NBA fans were hyped upon seeing it.

One fan says Savannah has now confirmed LeBron will play with his son Bronny, “Savannah just confirmed LeBron ain’t retiring until he plays with Bronny.”

A fan is dreaming of seeing James playing with his youngest son, “LeBron playing with Bryce .”

One said this was the best commercial they had seen in a while, “Dopest commercial I’ve seen in a while.”

Savannah’s narration and the cameos from the two sons made this special for one fan, “Savannah narrating and the cameos from all the kids is hard.”

A fan joked that LeBron will never retire, “LeNeverRetiring.”

Well, all good things must come to an end, and he will retire at some point in the near future. We can only hope he has a few more years left in him, and it would be incredible if also ends up playing with his second son Bryce James.

LeBron James Gave A Cryptic Response When Asked If He’d Retire After 2023-24

James had hinted after the 2022-23 season when the Los Angeles Lakers got swept by the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals, that he might walk away from the game. LeBron announced later, however, that he wasn’t going to retire.

Still, when you open that door once, you know those questions are going to start coming with greater regularity. During media day, LeBron was asked if he’d retire after the 2023-24 season, and he gave a cryptic response.

“I don’t know. I don’t know. I can’t (expand on that) because I don’t know. I’m happy right now, I’m excited. Looking forward to tomorrow and getting the training camp going. I don’t know what the end of this road looks like or at the end of the season. I have no idea.”

Based on those comments, I think you can assume unless he suffers a serious injury, he is going to keep playing. James is still clearly having a lot of fun on the court, having averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.6 blocks per game last season, and with a great team around him as well, there is no reason to retire.

The Lakers Are Expected To Pair LeBron James And Bronny

While LeBron looks set to keep playing, his future with the Lakers might still be a bit uncertain. James has a player option for the 2024-25 season, so he could opt out and become a free agent next year. With Bronny almost certainly set to enter the NBA in 2024, James could just choose to go wherever his son gets drafted.

It has been reported, though, that the Lakers are expected to pair LeBron and Bronny. Observes believe that L.A. will find a way to land Bronny as a means to ensure that LeBron doesn’t end up leaving. It will be interesting to see how they go about it, however, as teams wouldn’t just do them a favor and let them acquire the youngster.
