NBA Fans Try To Decide Who Would Come Off The Bench In A Team Of Charles Barkley, Scottie Pippen, Grant Hill, John Stockton, Penny Hardaway, And Patrick Ewing

Some of the greatest debates in the NBA exist because there is no way for everyone to agree on a conclusion. Most of those situations come up when we are trying to compare different players that never got to exist in the situation fans are describing. We can keep theorizing about LeBron vs. MJ, but we will never see an actual matchup take place.

NBA fans have a rabid imagination, and there are a lot of hypotheticals in NBA history that people can argue over. One of those debates has taken over Instagram recently with a fan asking others who would be benched on a team with John Stockton, Penny Hardaway, Charles Barkley, Scottie Pippen, Grant Hill, and Patrick Ewing.

This is a very eclectic mix of ’90s talent, and it can’t be easy to make a decision like that. Fans did their best and came out with extremely strong opinions about the lineups, arguing intently over the player that gets moved to the bench.

In terms of roster construction, there are only 2 guards that have been named in Stockton and Hardaway. Hill and Pippen are both small forwards, while Barkley is the only power forward, and Ewing is the only center.

Many people asked for Stockton to be the one who is moved to the bench, but he would be the perfect playmaker for this roster. His defensive ability will complement everyone on the roster as well. Hardaway or Hill could be off-guard with Stockton. Pippen, Barkley, and Ewing have cemented their place by being absolute specialists in what they do.

Hardaway and Hill both never got to see the prime of their careers as it was cut short by injuries, so we have more to go on with the others stars. Either way, you can’t go wrong with any lineup combination considering the gravity of the stars on this list.
