Charles Barkley Admits He Hates San Francisco: “I Just Don’t Like It. I Have To Like A City Because Y’all Like It?”

The Golden State Warriors are currently leading the 2022 Western Conference Finals after dominating the Dallas Mavericks in Game 1, completely overshadowing Luka Doncic and co. to start the series the best way.

The Dubs are trying to win another championship this season, but they first need to get past the Slovenian player and a hungry Mavericks team that will try to get revenge in Game 2. It looks like the Warriors also have enemies off the court, and not precisely Mavericks fans.

Well, at least the city where they play has. Charles Barkley recently revealed that he has strong feelings about San Francisco, comparing the place to ‘hell’. After the Mavericks upset the Phoenix Suns in the semifinals, Chuck expressed his honest opinion on SF.

Via NBC Bay Area:

“We’re going to hell, I mean San Francisco,” Barkley said on “Inside the NBA,” who will be traveling to the Bay Area with the TNT crew to broadcast the Warriors-Mavs series.

“I hate San Francisco,” Barkley continued as the rest of the crew confusingly asked him why. “I just don’t like it. I have to like a city because y’all like it?”

Chuck is not somebody that will hide his feelings, and this is yet another proof of that. The former NBA MVP doesn’t mince words to express his opinions, no matter who will get offended by them.

Ahead of Game 1, he even engaged in a back and forth with some Warriors fans. Things got out of control and Barkley used strong language to stop the trolling. This won’t end anytime soon and we can’t wait to see what Charles will say to Dubs fans and how they will reply.

Meanwhile, Luka Doncic will try to bounce back and show that Game 1 was just a fluke, and he’s now ready to dominate.
