Dennis Schroder Has Agreed To A One-Year Deal With The Boston Celtics

2 Min Read

Dennis Schroder has had tough luck in free agency, with no team willing to give him the multi-year lucrative deal that he desired. However, that doesn’t mean that he can’t get a big deal in the future, and a potential route to that would be taking a one-year deal to rebuild his value. It seems as though Dennis Schroder has decided to do exactly that.

Adrian Wojnarowski has reported that Dennis Schroder has signed a one-year deal with the Boston Celtics, giving them a formidable offensive threat next to Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Dennis Schroder will get to be the third option on a playoff team, and he’ll get the chance to show everyone what he can do.

The Boston Celtics certainly needed a solid point guard who could run the offense, as they traded Kemba Walker to the Oklahoma City Thunder prior to the beginning of free agency. Dennis Schroder is a great option for that, and he’ll have the opportunity to be a primary playmaker in Boston. Dennis Schroder will likely have a chip on his shoulder after missing out on a huge pay day, so we could see some stellar basketball from him in the upcoming season, and hopefully, he is able to earn that big deal he was looking for.
