Devin Booker Becomes 4th Youngest Player To Score 11,000 NBA Points After Kevin Durant, LeBron James, And Kobe Bryant

Devin Booker led the Chris Paul-less Phoenix Suns to yet another victory after his 28 points were crucial in getting them past the dangerous Minnesota Timberwolves in a 125-116 win. DeAndre Ayton scored a career-high 35 points while being matched up with Timberwolves star center Karl-Anthony Towns, who scored 15.

This was an entertaining game but turned out to also be a historic game. Devin Booker crossed the mark for 11,000 career points on the night, an incredible feat for the 24-year old. He is the fourth-youngest player to achieve this feat, with the three players younger than him being former NBA Champions.

Booker reached the feat after LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Kevin Durant. LeBron holds the record for being the youngest in virtually every scoring record in NBA history. KD was an instant impactive offensive player, and Kobe is one of the youngest players in NBA history, so he reached the feat despite not being a starter his first season in LA.

Booker is one of the most gifted scorers in the modern NBA. He is a complete offensive player with his wide mid-range arsenal, fantastic three-point shooting, and ability to go inside and score in the paint. His varied offensive skill-set has allowed him to reach this point at a young age.

Booker showed his potential to everyone when he scored 70 points against the Boston Celtics as a sophomore in the NBA. With the addition of Chris Paul to the Suns last season, Booker is getting a chance to finally show his talents on a winning team. Phoenix made the NBA Finals last season and have almost locked up the #1 seed in the Western Conference this season.

Massive congratulations to Booker, who is looking to close the final month of the season out and help the Suns overcome their Finals loss from last season and bring home the first championship in franchise history.
