1 Min Read

Fred VanVleet has agreed to re-sign with the Toronto Raptors. The point guard strikes a deal with the Raptors after a couple of weeks full of speculation regarding his future. Shams Charania of The Athletic broke the news, announcing that Fred agrees to a four-year, $85M deal to return to Toronto, the team whom he won a championship in 2019, playing a key role for the Canadians.

VanVleet, 29, went undrafted before receiving his chance in the Raptors 905. He made it to the league and so far has been a great addition to the 2019 NBA champions. This is the reward for all the years he spent showing his quality and value in the league. The player is set to stay in Toronto for several years, and the Raptors can’t be happier about it.

A great journey that is only getting better for Fred and his first and only team in the association.
