Jayson Tatum Responds To Donovan Mitchell ‘Bruh Why Are We Lying like This’: “Bro This My 4th Year Being “19” I’m Still Growing”

2 Min Read

Donovan Mitchell trolled Jayson Tatum on Twitter after finding out he was listed at 6’10”, two inches bigger than he was listed last season. Tatum is entering his fourth NBA season and it looks like he hasn’t stopped growing. After Brad Stevens announced that his superstar is still adding inches to his height, the Utah Jazz figure didn’t hide his surprise.

“Bruh why are we lying like this @jaytatum0 ,” Mitchell wrote on Twitter.

Tatum reacted to that tweet, reminding everybody that this was his fourth year being 19, so he’s still growing. Mitchell loved to see that Tatum was still at that age, laughing after his comments.

If you think about it, it does look like Tatum is still 19. He landed in the league at that age and it seems like he hasn’t aged a bit. Well, this season is the perfect opportunity to show he’s a grown-up and can lead the Boston Celtics to the NBA Finals for the first time in 10 years. Jayson is the future and the present of the franchise alongside Jaylen Brown.

He’s one of the best young players in the league right now and adding more inches to his height only makes him a bigger threat for rivals. Tatum’s future is huge, even more than his official height.
