In the modern day, we generally have to be careful with social media. There are many pitfalls to it, along with potentially getting hacked. It seems as though that has happened to a prominent member of the Los Angeles Lakers organization today.
Governor Jeanie Buss has recently gotten her Twitter account taken over by hackers. A tweet featuring a “PS5 for sale” was sent from her account, and it is clear that this is a scam, as Jeanie Buss doesn’t seem like the person who would sell a PS5 over Twitter.

Hopefully, this issue with Jeanie Buss’ Twitter account ends up getting resolved in the near future. It is quite likely that Jeanie Buss will end up getting her account back if she goes through Twitter Support.
This summer, Jeanie Buss and the Los Angeles Lakers have been busy trying to make improvements to the Lakers’ roster. She notably hinted that the team is likely not done making moves quite yet, even though they have overhauled their roster by signing a lot of defensive-minded and athletic players.
“We still have work to do. We’re not done. Until training camp starts, we’re not going to rest until we’re satisfied that we have the best chance for success.”
“We have to fill out a roster. So I think that Rob knows that every opportunity we can get to improve our team, he has to look at it. Those are the kind of moves that we’re going to make because we want to be back in the playoffs and contending for a title.”
Hopefully, we see the Los Angeles Lakers make the playoffs once again next season. There’s no doubt that they could potentially be a solid team next season with LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the roster, and the duo notably won a championship together in 2020.
No team can win a championship every season, not even a storied franchise like the Los Angeles Lakers. However, Jeanie Buss is clearly committed to making the best moves to support the stars on the roster, and we’ll see how well they end up doing next season.
