Lakers Fans Demand That The Team’s Front Office Get LeBron James Some Help: “Even Iron Man Needed The Avengers”

Fans of the Los Angeles Lakers are not happy with the team around LeBron James failing to help him win games once again.

The Los Angeles Lakers are not looking like a playoff team since the departure of Anthony Davis from the lineup. They were barely keeping themselves in the playoff race when AD discovered his MVP-level form but his injury has dashed the hopes of Laker fans about a good season despite the horrible roster that’s been built around them.

After a brutal loss to the Sacramento Kings where LeBron James had 31 points, 6 rebounds, and 11 assists, fans were livid about the situation LeBron has been put in for the third year in a row, as AD has gone out injured and the Lakers just haven’t had enough to make a playoff run.

Get LeBron some help 🤦‍♂️ This is embarrassing

It’s sad to see LeBron with no help. This gotta be one of the worst squads since the pre Miami Cleveland days. Especially with no AD

This is the same story with the Lakers every year. The roster has been average around LBJ for the last 2 years and they haven’t done anything to rectify that. There’s no reason to think they’ll do it now.

Will The Lakers Bring LeBron Help?

It seems the Lakers don’t think there’s any point in trying to make a competitive roster this season. This year is for LeBron James to cross Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in scoring and that’s how the front office has treated the year. Sports Illustrated demolished Rob Pelinka for not building a competent roster around LeBron as well.

A tiger doesn’t change his stripes and it is unlikely the Lakers will be making a big move to help the team get the 7th seed and lose in the first round. But if they’re putting their eggs in the cap space and free agency basket, they have to ensure they hit on whoever they get.

Building a roster around LeBron and AD with clarity over the future pick situation next summer might be what they’re looking at instead of a panic move this season.
