LeBron James Explains Why He Is A Better Player Than Michael Jordan Even Though He’s 3-6 In The NBA Finals

LeBron James has made some bold statements that will make plenty of NBA fans go crazy. The King has been very active in social media recently after the NBA suspended the season, mostly sending messages to other players and joking around with his family, but now LBJ took a different direction when he took some jabs at Michael Jordan.

LeBron has always admitted he’s tried to chase Jordan, the ‘ghost’ in Chicago, but this time he actually claimed he was a better player than the Chicago Bulls legend. During an Instagram Live, he sent several messages aimed at Jordan and his fans. When he was asked about who was better between him and Jordan, Bron said:

“No disrespect at all, that’s not my intention, but I wanna make this clear. MJ, he has nothing to do against me. I just think that this era is the best one in history, and even though Mike was my role model when I was a kid, he has nothing to do against me. I just saw a video of him trying to guard Magic… That man was lost. Magic was cooking him. What y’all think would have happened if he goes against me? Both in our primes? No doubt about it. I would beat him easily. I’m better than him,” the Los Angeles Lakers star said.

Recently, a video of Jordan trying to guard Magic Johnson surfaced, and people were quick to notice the widely considered ‘GOAT’ was having a hard time. Bron also explained why he was better than Jordan despite his 3-6 record in the Finals.

“A lot of people be saying he went 6-0 in the Finals while I’ve lost six Finals and only won three. He didn’t have to go past Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson or Kevin Durant. He didn’t have to face the Spurs with the big 3 plus a young Kawhi, MJ had Scottie, Rodman, Kerr, Kukoc and several other players to help him. I’m tired of hearing people saying he carried those teams because that’s not true. He had a lot of help,” Bron added.

It was a shock seeing LeBron saying these words, especially after all the times he’s praised Jordan and his game and all the things he did on the court. It looks like he’s finally addressing and embracing the comments of people saying he is the real goat and not Jordan.

This season he was leading the Lakers to become the best team in the league alongside Anthony Davis. He was set to bring that Larry O’Brien trophy home before the coronavirus outbreak. Now without any action, we have to make this April fool’s joke while the league is suspended.

LeBron has always shown his admiration for Mike, but hey, imagine all the headlines he would have made if those words were actually true.
