Mark Cuban And Lil Wayne Apparently Squashed Their Beef In Game 2 Of Warriors vs. Mavericks Series

2 Min Read

Besides the Dallas Mavericks destroying the Phoenix Suns in Game 7 of their Western Conference Semifinal series, their owner also made headlines after starting (or reigniting) a beef with legendary rapper Lil Wayne. The latter apparently isn’t a fan of Luka Doncic and has shown that on social media.

Well, Cuban isn’t a fan of Wayne’s preferences, and he let him know recently, using one of his lyrics to diss the rapper. This didn’t sit well with Weezy, who sent a huge message to Cuban before deleting the post.

“Mark Cuban don’t make me get u smacked boy. U playing w me?? I will p*ss in ya fkn mouth ho,” Wayne replied on Twitter.

Everybody had something to say about this situation, with some trying to explain the origin of the beef, while others speculated on what would happen the next time these two meet. Well, Tunechi actually pulled up to Game 2 of the Golden State Warriors vs. Dallas Mavericks series, and Cuban reached out to him.

Footage surfaced showing the Mavericks owner approaching Wayne, high-fiving his son, and ultimately shaking hands with the rapper, which made fans think their beef is squashed and they’re ready to move on.

In a game where the Mavericks dominated the Warriors in the first half, the Dubs took it personally and completed a 19-point comeback against the Texan team. Luka Doncic once again balled out, but that wasn’t enough to secure the win. Now the Mavs are heading back to Dallas, hoping to tie the series in the next two games in order to have a chance against the Dubs.

Hopefully, Cuban doesn’t get in any more trouble, but it doesn’t look like he’s too worried about it anyway. Game 3 is scheduled for this Sunday, with the Mavs hopeful that they can turn things around.
