Paul Pierce Gives Honest Reaction To If The Boston Celtics Should Trade For Kevin Durant: "They Not Gonna Do That. That Ain’t Happening. They Don’t Got To Make No Moves."

Talking about the incredible history of the Boston Celtics in the NBA. Paul Pierce is, without a doubt, one of the most prominent figures in franchise history. He played 15 seasons in a Celtics jersey and achieved a number of individual accolades throughout his illustrious career.

Although he only managed to win a single NBA Championship in his career, he is still regarded as a Boston Celtics legend. So the point being, when Pierce gives advice to the Celtics, they at least hear it with an open mind.

Over the last few days, the buzz around the NBA has been that the Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant might get traded to the Boston Celtics. The Celtics have the assets available to make a trade for KD as well.

Moreover, recent reports suggest that the franchise is indeed very serious about acquiring Durant to get past the final hurdle in the playoffs. But in order to get Durant, they would have to break up their incredible duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Paul Pierce believes the Celtics won't break the duo because they do not need to make any moves.

"Are we talking about the Celtics? Nah, they not gonna to do that. They not gonna do that. That ain’t happening. They don’t got to make no moves."

While the rumor mill suggests KD will become a Boston Celtics player before next season, it seems like former players of the Celtics do not want this to happen.

Before Pierce, Antoine Walker also seemed disturbed by the idea of Kevin Durant getting traded to the Celtics. He also believed that it would be a terrible decision to break the duo of Brown and Tatum.
