LeBron James has made nothing but headlines for his performances, even in the 20th NBA season of his career. The King has managed to stay healthy and dominate opponents despite being on the verge of turning 38 years old.

But even though he is having a great season, there have been times when James has fumbled the opportunity to help the Los Angeles Lakers win. One of the most recent examples of it was during the Lakers vs. Celtics game. It was a phenomenal game where Jayson Tatum led the Celtics to a phenomenal overtime victory over the Lakers.

On the other hand, James had a great game as well, but he couldn’t ice it and ended up missing the game-winning shot.

Skip Bayless Calls Out LeBron James

Veteran NBA analyst Skip Bayless has already established himself as a hater of LeBron James. Over the years, Skip has never missed out on an opportunity to call out James, and he surely wasn’t going to do that during the Lakers’ recent matchup against the Celtics.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO, LEBRON. NOT AGAIN. YOU FAILED TO CLOSE AGAIN. ANOTHER MISSED GAME-WINNER, AN AWKWARD THREE WHEN YOU COULD'VE DRIVEN IT AND MADE JUST ONE FREE THROW TO WIN. HAVE SOME GUTS! NO CLUTCH GENE.

Bayless called out James for missing the late chance of winning the game for the Lakers. However, James was among the top clutch players in the league last season. Although James’ miss must have frustrated the Lakers fanbase, there have been several times when LeBron has led the team to victories in the clutch.

Skip may have been right about James missing the clutch shot, but calling him out for not having the clutch gene seems atrocious. The perfect way for James would be to nail a game-winner sometime later in the regular season. Whether that will happen or not, only time will tell.
