LeBron James and Steph Curry may be enemies on the court, but they actually have a lot more in common than you think.

They both live and work in California, they’re both worth millions of dollars, and they’re two of the most successful and widely-known basketball players of the last decade.

Apparently, they were even born in the same hospital room! Or, something like that, at least In a chat on IG Live, Steph shed a little more light on the story…

“Maybe the same floor. The stories continue to stretch. It was the same hospital. Now the same floor, the same nurse. I don’t know…”

Whether it was the same room or not, it’s still pretty wild that two of the generation’s greatest basketball players were birthed in the same hospital. I mean, it really makes you wonder what kind of holy ground that building sits on.

Seriously, though, James and Curry hold tremendous respect for each other. Ahead of LeBron’s 19th season, Steph showed him some love by talking about his longevity and how he has set the standard in terms of durability and personal health.

“He set the standard for that,” Curry said. “Let’s keep it real – what is he, in his 18th year? Nine straight Finals, all the things that he’s accomplished. You have a vision of sustaining your prime for as long as you can, kind of reimagining what that looks like. So, you know the work that goes into it, the intentionality, especially in the offseasons, especially how you take care of your body, your mind. Balance on court, off court.”

There are many more stories like that, and they all demonstrate the respect and admiration they share for each other.

With the new NBA season set to launch tomorrow, it won’t be long now before we see Steph and Bron dominate the league again. And what a treat it is to see them do their thing.
