Timberwolves’ Twitter After Anthony Edwards Dunk: ‘Is This Legal In The US Or Canada???’

Anthony Edwards drew a lot of attention on Friday night when he made arguably the best dunk in the NBA this season. The Minnesota Timberwolves rookie has been playing great basketball recently but nothing that he’s previously made has caught so many eyes like his spectacular play on Yuta Watanabe.

The T-Wolves hosted the Toronto Raptors on Friday, playing a very close and defensive game, something refreshing to see in the league this season. Edwards didn’t score a lot of points but he left his mark on the game and surely the season with his dunk over the Raptors’ player. He took the ball from the left corner, saw the freeway, and took off. Watanabe tried to stop him at the rim but his attempts were useless. Edwards violently dunked the ball over his defender, who is now part of one of the best posters in recent times.

The reactions didn’t take long to arrive and everybody had something to say about this play. The Timberwolves’ Twitter account posted a huge message, asking if Edwards could be in trouble with the law after making that play.

“IS THIS LEGAL IN THE US OR CANADA??????????????” They tweeted.

Some fans took the opportunity to make some jokes while praising Edwards and enjoy such a big play.

someone is gonna lose their virginity next to a poster of this in a college dorm room, put money on it pic.twitter.com/ihPtGyiI53

Bruh, I'm not even a Raptors fan and this hurts me 😢🤮

At least he tried to defend it. Most players run the other way so they “don’t” get embarrassed on a poster. I think it is embarrassing to not defend.

This was a very good play and NBA fans won’t forget this shortly. Edwards was known for his talents to fly before he entered the league and he’s confirming that with his performances in Minny. This young man is expected to do big things and even though the T-Wolves are struggling this season, the Ant-Man has been the light at the end of the tunnel for them.
