USWNT star Trinity Rodman has once again ripped her father Dennis Rodman. After Trinity stated that Dennis is ‘not a dad’ on the Call Her Daddy podcast, the former took to Instagram to issue an apology but it did not go down well with his daughter.
“Nice repost,” Trinity wrote. “A joke. The response alone. And the attention. Wiping my hands with it. I’m done. Thank you.”

Dennis has now deleted the reel in which he issued the apology.
“Sorry I wasn’t the Dad you wanted me to be but either way I still tried and I still Try and Never will Stop,” Rodman wrote. “I will keep Trying even when you’re being told as an adult not to respond to my phone calls. I will try even when it’s difficult and if it takes a long time.
“I’m always here And tell you all the time rather it’s your voice or voicemail how proud I am,” Rodman continued. “I always had one wish and it was I wish my kids would call me and come see me. Hopefully one day I can get that. I’m here and I’m still trying pick up the phone you have my number, You see me calling, I’m still here Dennis RODMAN- Dad.”
Rodman also claimed that he was once stopped from seeing Trinity, 22, play when he tried to attend one of her games.
“FYI: I watch you play All the time (actually flew in to watch you play and was told not to show up bc who I was with instead and me just wanting to support you So I watched you from my hotel balcony just to make everybody happy. I love All My Kids.”
It wasn’t surprising that Rodman deleted this apology, as he got a fair bit of backlash for it. The notion was that he was just making excuses here and that it wasn’t a great apology. Trinity certainly thinks that is the case. This father-daughter duo has never had a great relationship and it doesn’t look like things will ever change.
Trinity was the second child born to Dennis Rodman and Michelle Moyer on May 20, 2002, and the couple married the following year. In 2004, though, Moyer filed for divorce, and while the two attempted to reconcile, their marriage was officially dissolved in 2012.
Rodman wasn’t around for much of Trinity’s childhood and that continued to be the case once she made it big as a soccer player as well. Dennis did show up for one of her games in 2021 when her Washington Spirit took on North Carolina Courage in the playoffs and it made her think that perhaps their relationship was going to change. That wasn’t the case, however, and it appears they are now farther apart than they’ve ever been.
