The Western Conference Semifinals series took another turn after the events of Game 4. The series is now tied at 2-2 after Chris Paul and the Suns lost their second consecutive game of the series.

It is now anyone’s series and each team will be giving their 110% in the upcoming games to qualify for the Western Conference Finals. For the Suns, CP3, in particular, needs to improve as he had a forgettable outing.

He was fouled out and managed to score just 5 points before that. Paul fell into the trap created by the Mavericks and wasn’t useful to the Suns at all. Mavs head coach Jason Kidd even made a sarcastic comment by teaching his players to learn to draw fouls from Paul.

Regardless of how he played, it doesn’t give any fans the right to cross the line. But a Mavericks fan did just that during the game. The fan pushed Chris Paul’s wife in front of their children and he didn’t stop there. He put his hands on CP3’s mother as well.

Paul was understandably furious and almost got into a brawl with the fan while calling him out as well. Paul said, “Hey, hey, I see you… I see you.”

Chris Paul was not happy. 😳

It is disappointing to see fans behave this way during games and in general as well. Paul was also disappointed by how the league handles such situations and expressed his frustration on Twitter.

“Wanna fine players for saying stuff to the fans but the fans can put they hands on our families….f**k that!!”

Wanna fine players for saying stuff to the fans but the fans can put they hands on our families….fuck that!!

As Paul tweeted, more often than not NBA players are fined even for saying the smallest of things to fans. But when the roles reverse, the league should be strict as well.

If this is what indeed happened, the fan should be banned and if required, further action should be taken as well.
