The Miami Heat put up a show against the Boston Celtics on Friday night, forcing Game 7 of the 2022 Eastern Conference Finals after Jimmy Butler’s incredible 47-point performance. The Floridians tried everything to win and return home for the final game of the series, even if that meant doing the wrong things.

Everybody was on a mission last night, even if they weren’t on the court, and Kyle Lowry hilariously tried to guard Al Horford as the Dominican player attempted a 3-pointer. Lowry fouled out the game, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t involved in the game anymore.

Bleacher Report’s Instagram page recently shared the video of Lowry trying to stop Al Horford from the bench, trying hard to hold himself and not touch Horford as he took the shot.

NBA fans reacted to the video, with some remembering the Dallas Mavericks and the fines they received for misbehaving on the bench, while others just had a laugh at Lowry’s expensive:

But they finna fine the mavs bench

Bro that’s not legal lol

Aye whatever it takes I ain’t mad at him

Those bench players should be sitting down … fine then way to close to court

Man stood like a raptor he wanna go back home

Mavs got fined heavy for that. Lowry should too

But mavs got fined 150k for less

Mavs bench has entered the chat

that just means he locked in fr

50k fine

that’s a technical foul

If the Mavs got fined let this be the case for this nonsense….

Yeah but the mavs get fined for supporting their team, nice

surprised they haven’t announced a fine for that

Damn that was foul too how you foul out twice in the same game

How is this funny he changed the shot while out of the game

As you can see, not everybody enjoyed Lowry’s participation in that play, and they want to see the league taking action on this. The Heat played an incredible game, won the match, and forced a win-or-go-home duel, but this play was very questionable. It’s admirable that Lowry is locked in, but these antics are too much.
