NBA Rumors: Los Angeles Lakers Interested In Isaiah Thomas

2 Min Read

It seems like Isaiah Thomas could make a return to the NBA next season. The veteran point guard has tried to get another shot in the association, and some candidates are considering his services this offseason.

After playing for the New Orleans Pelicans last season, Thomas is a free agent trying to prove he can be a reliable piece for any team in the association. Following an 81-piece game in a pro-am game, IT was spotted crying for not having more opportunities to show his talents.

Well, that could change sooner than later. According to Marc Stein, several candidates, including the Los Angeles Lakers, are considering bringing Thomas on board ahead of an exciting campaign.

The Lakers, among various free-agent candidates are still considering, have weighed the potential signing of Isaiah Thomas, league sources say.

The purple and gold have assembled a very talented team full of veterans that can make a lot of noise. Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, Trevor Ariza, and more found their way to Los Angeles, where they expect to compete for a title alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

IT could be a good leader for the second unit when Brodie and Bron are on the bench. This is an interesting option for the Lakers and a big win for Thomas if he returns to Staples Center, where he played for a brief period in 2018.
