The Golden State Warriors are in for a busy summer. With plans to compete for a title this upcoming season, they are expected to make a number of changes to improve the state of their roster.

In regard to the draft, the Warriors have an opportunity to make a move for a big-name player. And, according to reports, they have already received a number of “interesting” offers for their No. 2 pick.

“Golden State has definitely had talks about moving down,” ESPN’s Brian Windhorst revealed on The Jump, via CBS Sports. “They have been offered some interesting packages from what I have been told, but nothing that has struck their fancy just yet.”

With a draft class that includes Anthony Edwards, James Wiseman, and LaMelo Ball, teams around the league will be wanting to move up their pick.

The Warriors, who have three of their best players over 30, will likely be willing to part with their pick if it means maximizing their potential to win now. Eric Paschall or even Andrew Wiggins might be used in a package to acquire another star and build up another superteam for the franchise.

Names like Devin Booker, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Ben Simmons are just some of the names who have been mentioned as possible targets for this team.
