This NBA season has been eerily quiet on the trade front. But with so many teams vying for control in their respective conferences, it was only a matter of time until something big happened.
In a four-way deal that involves some big names, Houston, Atlanta, Minnesota, Evan Turner, and Denver all get some solid pieces in return.

Clint Capela will make a huge difference for the Hawks. With a slew of young perimeter threats, he’ll have plenty of space to find shots in the middle and grab offensive rebounds off the glass.
In Houston, Robert Covington gets a fresh start and the chance to play for a contender. Alongside James Harden and Russell Westbrook, he’s the wing player that could put them over the top in the West. But will their frontcourt be enough to contend?
For the Timberwolves, they might have lost the most in this trade. For Covington, they were only able to acquire some bench role-players and a future pick.
Denver, meanwhile, will acquire Gerald Green and a future first-round pick.
