NBA Trade Rumors: Warriors Could Offer Andrew Wiggins, Eric Paschall And Two 1st-Round Picks For Rudy Gobert

2 Min Read

With problems potentially stirring in Utah, almost every single team in the league is gauging the availability of Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell.

Among a slew of other interested parties are apparently the Golden State Warriors, who may be prepared to make a lucrative offer for the 2x Defensive Player of the Year.

As Draymond Green’s athleticism wanes, it will be helpful to surround him with a spectacular athlete like Donovan Mitchell. It’s not like the Jazz doesn’t have excellent shooters on the wing, either.

Eric Paschall has shown himself to be a solid number two option on a scrub team, probably capable of being the fourth option on a contender, and his contract is to die for.

Joining the splash brothers would allow Gobert to get more dunks and offensive rebounds than ever before.

With Paschall and Wiggins, the Jazz would have their much-needed offensive plug and two guys who could help lead the franchise into the future. Wiggins, specifically, has a lot of potential and is coming off one of the best seasons of his career — in which he averaged 21.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.7 assists on 44.7% shooting.

For the Warriors, the addition of Rudy Gobert would significantly bolster Golden State’s defense. Alongside Draymond Green, they’d have the best defensive frontcourt in the league.

For both, there is a significant benefit to the deal. But with so much going on, it might be a month before talks even begin. It’ll be interesting to see how things play out.
