Lou Williams is a 3x Sixth Man of the Year winner and a major player for the LA Clippers. In their run last season, he was seen as a core member, averaging 18.2 points per game on 41.8% shooting.
According to rival executives, Williams may soon be taking his talents elsewhere, as they expect the Clippers to continue shaking up their talented roster.

The additions of Ibaka and Luke Kennard (via trade with Detroit) are just the beginning; many rival teams also expect the Clippers to trade Lou Williams in their quest to create a fresh-start environment after they blew a 3-1 series lead to the Nuggets.
Lou, 34, is set to make $8 million in 2020-21, the last year of his current contract. Despite what he brings to the table in terms of scoring and ball-handling, the Clippers may look to move on from him before the season’s end.
Fear of his departure in free agency is likely at play, but so, too, is the Clippers’ desire to swap personnel after a hugely disappointing finish in the 2020 playoffs. Lou Williams was one of the players who struggled the most in the Orlando bubble, and his poor performance is at least partly to blame for why they got bounced so early.
