NBA Rumors: Milwaukee Bucks Are Interested In Chris Paul And Aaron Gordon

2 Min Read

The Milwaukee Bucks are entering a 2020/21 NBA season with plenty of questions to answer regarding their future and Giannis Antetokounmpo’s. The Greek player is keen to win with his team but they need to make the right moves to bring the pieces that will help Giannis finally succeed in the league. Several names have been linked with the Bucks and now two big players are reportedly under their radar, too.

Jake Weinbach of Hoopshabit studied the case for Chris Paul joining the Bucks, claiming that Milwaukee is confident they can get a deal done for CP3.

Milwaukee has already been linked with other guards such as Indiana’s Victor Oladipo, New Orleans’ Jrue Holiday, and Sacramento’s Bogdan Bogdanovic to go along with Chris Paul. There has reportedly been ‘no traction’ between the Bucks and Thunder on a potential trade involving Paul at this current time, but there is still optimism that talks could generate with the trade moratorium expected to be lifted soon.

As the Bucks are set to be active in the trade market, it’s reportedly “an open secret” around the league that the Bucks will be shopping Bledsoe, potentially with other assets, in an attempt to upgrade their roster. With that being said, it wouldn’t be a surprise to anybody to see Milwaukee aggressively pursue an obvious upgrade in the backcourt.

Paul isn’t the only one linked with the Bucks in recent hours, as Aaron Gordon is another name drawing attention from the Bucks. According to Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer, the Orlando Magic are having conversations about trading Gordon and the Bucks are one of those teams inquiring about the forward.

These are two big names and the Bucks could benefit from their talents. However, it looks like CP3 is the priority for the front office. They need somebody that can help Giannis succeed and Paul is that man.
