NBA Rumors: LaMarcus Aldridge To Warriors, Andrew Wiggins To Spurs And DeMar DeRozan To Hawks In Blockbuster Three-Team Trade

2 Min Read

The Golden State Warriors haven’t decided what to do with their 2020 NBA draft pick yet and recent rumors suggest they are going to deal it to another team in order to land an established star. The Warriors are set to enter a very entertaining offseason following a tumultuous 2020/21 NBA season where they had the worst record in the league (15-50).

Now they have Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson back, the No. 2 overall pick and the chance to land a star using that selection.

NBA columnist Austin Krell reports that Warriors could engage in a three-team trade with the San Antonio Spurs and Atlanta Hawks. Krell reveals that the Warriors would trade that No. 2 pick and Andrew Wiggins to land LaMarcus Aldridge.

The Warriors could get the big man that they want so bad in Aldridge, the Spurs would get the No. 2 overall pick to land a big prospect to develop under Gregg Popovich and the Hawks would get another player to help Trae Young in Atlanta.

This offseason is expected to be very moved given the short time teams will have to make business and the Warriors are already making moves behind the scenes. This would be a very good deal for all the three teams involved ahead of the 2020/21 season.
