The Golden State Warriors came out on top after a thrilling 109-106 finish against the Houston Rockets. With another game in the series coming down to the wire, Warriors fans have been going crazy while reacting to the result of the game.

The Warriors-Rockets series has proven to be one of the more interesting ones of this year’s postseason. The two Western Conference teams have been going at each other with unparalleled intensity in this series, and as things stand, the Warriors have taken the upper hand after Game 4.

The Warriors have responded to the Rockets’ aggression positively. With the home crowd driving them forward, Golden State managed to hold on to a small lead but couldn’t extend it as Houston simply wouldn’t go away.

The Rockets stayed alive behind some crucial baskets by Fred VanVleet and Alperen Sengun. However, the Warriors had their clutch performers for this game as well. With huge clutch plays by Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green down the stretch, Golden State secured the win at home.

Needless to say, the fierce battle has sparked a lot of emotions within the fanbase. With a close finish forcing Warriors fans to the edge of their seats, several shared their reactions to the clutch performance and win by the team.

“The CLAMPS were on!” said one overjoyed fan while referring to the stellar defense played by Green in the fourth quarter.

“Playoff Jimmy is DIFFERENT,” said another, giving credit to the Warriors’ newest star.

“Warriors showing the world how good they are,” claimed one fan following the crucial win at home.

“HUGE W FOR WARRIORS,” added another.

A Warriors fan also gave props to Butler for the crucial rebound in the final moments of the game and said, “That last rebound by Jimmy Butler was electric.”

“As a Warriors fan, I felt much more confident after Charles picked the Rockets to win the game at halftime,” added another fan while taking a shot at TNT’s Charles Barkley.

“It’s pretty much over for Houston,” said another Warriors fan while addressing the state of the series.

The Warriors’ championship pedigree was on full display on Monday night. The clutch plays down the stretch encapsulated their tenacious nature and ability to execute when the situation called for it the most.

A major factor in their success in this game was the timely return of Butler from injury. Although the Warriors managed to secure a win even without the forward in Game 3, having him back on the floor was of immense benefit to them. He recorded a team-high 27 points to go with five rebounds and six assists on the night.

Another key performer for Golden State was their guard Brandin Podziemski. On a night when Stephen Curry was relatively quiet, Podziemski led the charge by scoring 26 points on the night. While shooting 6-11 from three-point territory, the young guard also played some stout defense in the closing moments of the game to secure the win for his team.

However, the Warriors will be most grateful for Draymond Green’s performance. The veteran forward clamped down on defense in the fourth. Although he was sitting on five fouls, Green locked up Sengun in the final seconds of the game to help Golden State retain its one-point lead.

The outcome of Game 4 was a vivid depiction of the team’s toughness. With a 3-1 series lead, the Warriors are primed to close things out on the road. With Game 5 looming ahead, Golden State will look to send Houston out of the playoffs on Wednesday at 7:30 pm ET.
