Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton‘s girlfriend recently went viral for her display of support for her partner’s team. However, the show of support came in the form of trash-talking Thunder fans on the road in Game 2.

Needless to say, the fans on social media who witnessed this had a lot to say about it as well. With this in mind, we take a look at the myriad reactions shared by NBA fans on X.

“Love it tbh… she’s standing on business for her man,” said a fan, in support of Jade’s passionate display.

Another fan added, “Haliburton’s girlfriend trying to manifest another comeback.”

One fan took a shot at the Pacers guard while reacting and said, “At least she showed up to the game, Hali no-showed.”

“Jade is my spirit animal,” added another fan.

A fan also referred to Haliburton’s father, John, while commenting on Jade’s antics and said, “Halis dad is probably right next to her running his mouth the other way.”

“Pops on last chance with NBA so she’s been given the baton,” reiterated another, referring to Haliburton’s father being on thin ice with the league.

Another fan took this as an opportunity to criticize Haliburton’s shortcomings by saying, “If only Haliburton would go after the basket and score points.”

A Pacers fan also expressed his frustration while dealing with other fans and said, “So when we talk shit when up we’re front runners, and when we talk shit down we’re corny. No winning with y’all.”

“Ride or die,” said one fan, acknowledging Haliburton’s girlfriend and her approach to the situation.

“Umm… she needs to sit down and mind her damn business!! TF ??” asked one fan, seemingly confused about why she would engage.

While Haliburton’s girlfriend has faced much criticism, the majority opinion has seen her receive a lot of support for the display of faith in her partner and his team. Unfortunately, the Pacers were unable to pull off any miracles in Game 2.

Game 1 may have witnessed a spectacular outcome, spurred by a relentless comeback in the fourth quarter. But in Game 2, Indiana was simply outperformed by Oklahoma.

Thunder guards Alex Caruso and Aaron Wiggins outscored Indiana’s top scorer, Tyrese Haliburton, who only had 17 points on the night. Although the Pacers saw solid contributions across the board, with each starter recording 10+ points, they were blown out in a 123-107 result.

Regardless, the Pacers will be heading into Game 3 in Indiana with some confidence. After securing a win on the road, the Pacers still have some control over the flow of the series.

However, a motivated Thunder squad will be much more challenging to deal with. Apart from this, rising concerns regarding Haliburton’s injury could take the wind out of Indiana’s sails.
