LeBron James’ offseason has been a carefully curated mix of style, leisure, and star power. This past weekend, the Los Angeles Lakers legend added another chapter to his summer with a star-studded appearance at the wedding of Andrew Forbes, son of Cleveland Cavaliers minority owner Nate Forbes.

And, true to form, LeBron didn’t just attend, he turned the event into an Instagram-worthy spectacle that included golf swings, fashion statements, and a reunion with some of the NBA’s most recognizable faces.

LeBron posted what he called a “weekend was had” photo dump on Instagram, six slides that could have been straight out of a lifestyle magazine. The first was a selfie with Kevin Love, Draymond Green, and longtime friend Paul Rivera.

All three men were suited up for the occasion, blending NBA superstardom with wedding-day elegance. Love rocked a navy suit, Green donned a vibrant turquoise tux, and LeBron opted for a stylish brown suit, sunglasses included.

Slide two captured the lighter side of the weekend: a golf outing with Rivera, Randy Mims, and Nike executive David Creech. The group posed mid-round, flashing smiles as LeBron continued to showcase his growing obsession with golf.

Later slides highlighted James’ Louis Vuitton double-breasted wool jacquard blazer, a flex that merged his fashion-forward brand with his off-court identity. He even posted a video of himself working on his swing, a subtle nod to how serious he has become about his new hobby.

But the finale wasn’t about golf or fashion. LeBron shared a joyous wedding moment, with Forbes and his bride lifted on chairs during the traditional celebration. His caption tied the weekend together:

“Great people always = Great Times & Vibes… Until next time.”

Draymond Green, never one to let a moment slip by unnoticed, reposted the selfie with LeBron and Love to his own story with the words: “With a few good men.”

The wholesome caption underscored the bond between the trio. Kevin Love, LeBron’s former Cavaliers teammate and co-champion in 2016, has remained close with James, while Draymond, once a fierce Finals rival, has become a trusted ally off the court.

Even NFL legend Tom Brady chimed in after spotting photos from LeBron and Love’s golf outing earlier in the weekend.

“Solid crew.”

For LeBron, weekends like this aren’t just downtime; they’re carefully managed snapshots of his life. Weddings, golf, fashion, and friendships all feed into his brand as much as they feed his personal happiness. The timing also matters, with training camp for the 2025-26 season fast approaching, James is making the most of every moment before the grind begins again.

From champagne to golf swings, LeBron’s latest offseason chapter wasn’t just about attending a wedding. It was about showing the world that even at 40, he’s still living life at full speed, surrounded by friends, fashion, and plenty of cameras.
