There is no doubt that Zion Williamson has superstar potential, and many consider him the best player on the New Orleans Pelicans. He is their best chance of winning a championship, and Williamson could clearly take their current squad to contention.

Recently, NBA analyst Nick Wright claimed that if he is healthy, Zion Williamson is a top-10 player. Though Zion Williamson’s health is clearly a question mark, it is clear that he is dominant when he does play.

“If we get 70 games of Zion Williamson, he is going to be one of the 10 best players in the league.”

It is no guarantee that Zion Williamson will be able to stay healthy next year. However, if he does end up doing so, we could see the New Orleans Pelicans become one of the breakout teams of the season.

In the 2022-23 regular season, Zion Williamson put up 26.0 PPG, 7.0 RPG, and 4.6 APG for the New Orleans Pelicans, while shooting 60.8% from the field. He is a supreme talent, and hopefully, we see him on the court more frequently next season with the team.

Zion Williamson Is Following LeBron James’ Blueprint To Get In Shape This Offseason

There is no doubt that the key to Zion Williamson getting less injured is for him to be better conditioned throughout the season. In fact, the young star recently revealed that he using LeBron James’ blueprint to get in shape this offseason.

“So the diet piece, I’m always able to come back each summer feeling good, looking good,” Zion Williamson said. “But I would say it’s more of locking in on flexibility, band work. Because I think it’s those things that will be able to keep me on the court longer versus just losing weight and then coming to play by being able to maintain that. I mean, Bron got the blueprint.”

It remains to be seen if the work Zion Williamson is putting in this offseason will keep him on the court. He is clearly putting in the effort to prevent injuries. Following LeBron James’ blueprint makes sense for Zion Williamson, and perhaps he can have one of his best seasons next year.
