Draymond Green punched Jordan Poole in the face following a heated altercation with his former teammate last summer. The infamous incident led to the Golden State Warriors ultimately picking Green and trading Poole.

Green explained his actions recently. Draymond claimed the punch was the result of dialogue building over quite some time. Former Warriors player Nick Young recently gave his two cents about Draymond Green’s behavior while revealing he almost received a similar treatment from the veteran forward.

“Draymond tried that same punch with me lol it’s something about corner dudes he hates lol.” Young tweeted.

Young responded to a tweet by a fan who asked for his say about a video from his time with the Warriors. In the clip, Green could be seen chasing Young and trying to punch him in the face.

The clip is from a practice session during the 2018 NBA Finals. It’s safe to say that Green may have some anger issues and he needs to stay calmer in the future.

Draymond Green Gets Into It With Jordan Poole’s Father

Jordan Poole has avoided all questions about his infamous incident with Draymond Green and the impact of it in his departure.

However, Poole’s father didn’t hold back when calling out Green on Twitter. JP’s father called Green a soft a** b***h for his explanation behind punching the 24-year-old.

As expected, the NSFW rant reached Draymond Green. The four-time NBA champion clapped back at Poole’s father.

“That’s so cute… it’s impossible to avoid you an arena for a year champ. I got to get my family from that family room every game. And stop using those words, they usually don’t go over well amongst men.”

It’s obvious that there’s a lot of bad blood between Poole and Green. Keeping that in mind, it will be interesting to see their matchups in the 2023-24 NBA season. Fans are bound to see some words getting exchanged between the former teammates.
