Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the most popular players in the NBA today. Giannis is an icon and one of the faces of this league. Despite only playing in the NBA for only 10 years, Giannis has accomplished everything in his career, both from an individual and team standpoint. But Giannis found a little bit of fame even before reaching the NBA.

In 2012, Giannis Antetokounmpo and his mother starred in an Australian movie called ‘Dead Europe’. The movie found success in Australia but didn’t transcend the country’s film scene. This little cameo, where he was credited as the neighbor’s son, was the first look for fans on the man who would come to be known as ‘The Greek Freak’.

Giannis Antetokounmpo would go on to enter the NBA a year after this movie came out. 2013 marked Giannis’ arrival in the NBA, and he would go on to become one of the best players in the league within a few short years.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Became A Superstar In The NBA

Giannis Antetokounmpo found success in the NBA within a few years of arriving in the league. By 2019, Giannis became the league MVP and then went on to win the award a second time the following year, along with a Defensive Player of the Year award. And by 2021, he would go on to win the NBA championship and Finals MVP.

Giannis, at the age of 28, has already achieved everything in the NBA. But he will not be taking it easy anytime soon, as he will try to win more championships till he doesn’t think he can play at a high level.
