Jayson Tatum had another disappointing game on Thursday night, failing to make an impact with his Boston Celtics. After doing the work in the prior rounds to the 2022 Finals, the forward was a shell of himself against the Golden State Warriors, completely vanishing when his team needed him the most.

Everybody expected him to step up and have a great series against the Dubs, but Tatum only play well for the first couple of games and then disappeared. In Game 6, with the C's facing elimination, he was locked up by Andrew Wiggins and Stephen Curry, scoring a poor 13 points.

After the game and the series were over, many people reacted to Tatum's performances, calling him out for his disappearance and for letting Jaylen Brown down. One of those was Nick Young, who took to Twitter to assess JT's performance, using a controversial take to explain what went wrong for him.

Swaggy P, who played for the Warriors a couple of years ago, controversially said that Tatum's 'color of skin' came out.

"As much as I love JT he showed his true light skin colors came out this finals got lock up the whole finals left his boy brown hanging … …you got too much Game for this to happen," Young wrote.

It was crazy to see Tatum going from the top to the bottom in such a short time. The forward already showed signs of slowing down during the Heat series, but after a solid Game 7, we thought he was back. Well, Tatum couldn't perform as expected against the Dubs and will have to wait another season to compete for the title again.

He has tried to pay homage to Kobe Bryant during this playoff run, and some people asked him to slow it down. Perhaps Young is talking about that with his tweet, as he knows what Kobe was made of. JT is still young and has a bright future ahead. We could see him going at it for the championship soon and redeeming himself.
