Klay Thompson is back in the Finals with the Golden State Warriors, and there’s no doubt that it must be a good feeling for him. Thompson has missed two seasons in a row with injuries, and watching him play on the highest stage with his team while performing well is spectacular to watch.
Rams receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has recently expressed his support for Klay Thompson with a Tweet, saying that he wants the shooting guard to get another championship and the Finals MVP award while also noting that Klay Thompson’s recovery from injury also “motivated” him.

Odell Beckham Jr. has now torn his ACL twice in his career, and it is easy to see why he would be inspired by Klay Thompson, who has had two serious injuries in consecutive years. Odell Beckham Jr. notably won the Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams this year, so perhaps we’ll see Klay Thompson do the same thing and win with the Golden State Warriors this year.
Game 6 is an elimination game for the Boston Celtics, and there’s no doubt that they will be playing desperately on their home court in TD Garden. They are a tough defensive team, and it is quite likely that Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown will have elite performances to avoid going home today.
Klay Thompson has a history of showing up in Game 6 of any given series, though, and some have already predicted that he will try to score 50 points to close out the Celtics. It would be nice if Klay Thompson did have an explosive scoring night, but of course, the primary goal for him will be winning the game.
