The Orlando Magic are currently one of the youngest teams in the NBA. Heading into the 2022-23 NBA season, the Magic’s roster has an average age of 23.9, making them the fourth youngest team in the league.
Considering that, it’s no surprise that the Orlando Magic are still not competing for a spot in the playoffs. So when the Boston Celtics faced off against them for two straight games, many expected those games to be easy wins for the Celtics. However, the Celtics were defeated in both games against the Magic. And after the first win, former Celtics player Eddie House decided to call the Magic lucky and still garbage.

“They got 10 wins, they are still garbage. They’re still not a good basketball team. They won’t make the playoffs, they won’t be in the play-in game. The way the game unfolded was, a team came out complement thinking they were head and shoulders better. Yeah, we are head and shoulders better this season but at the same time, there are proud professionals on the other side. And I’m not talking about individually they’re not good players but as a team. As we’re almost to Christmas right, so we’ve had a nice-sized sample to know exactly what you are. That team was 1-11 coming in on the road.”
Well, House made these comments when the Magic won their first game against the Celtics. Following that ‘lucky’ win, the Magic’s stars Markelle Fultz, Cole Anthony, and Mo Bamba led the Magic to another win.
Eddie House Gets Trolled By Orlando Magic Players
Winning two back-to-back games against arguably the current best team in the NBA is no small feat for a struggling team like the Magic. So after winning the second game, players like Fultz, Anthony, and Mamba decided to clap back at House for his comments.

The three stars did so by posting a GIF of Eddie House getting slapped at the back of his head by former Orlando Magic player Rafer Alston.
As of now, the Magic have strung together a six-game winning streak and now have a record of 11-20 in the Eastern Conference. They are still far from becoming a playoff contender in the East, but defeating the Celtics must have felt good.
