Pat Connaughton is a very good 3 and D role player who plays for the Milwaukee Bucks. He was part of the 2021 Bucks’ championship team, and it looks as though he is willing to remain with the franchise for a while.

Shams Charania has recently revealed that Pat Connaughton will be getting a 3-year, $30 million contract extension from the Milwaukee Bucks. That is a solid price to pay for an elite shooter, and hopefully, he can help the team win another championship.

Milwaukee Bucks swingman Pat Connaughton is finalizing a three-year, $30 million contract extension with the franchise, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. The deal takes the Bucks' key shooter and well-regarded leader through the 2025-26 season.

Milwaukee Bucks swingman Pat Connaughton is finalizing a three-year, $30 million contract extension with the franchise, sources tell The Athletic and Stadium. The deal takes the Bucks’ key shooter and well-regarded leader through the 2025-26 season.

The Milwaukee Bucks notably fell short of winning the championship in 2022, losing in the second round against the Boston Celtics. However, part of that is due to Khris Middleton being hurt, and it is quite likely that the Milwaukee Bucks will be contending for the championship once again next season.

Pat Connaughton is the perfect type of role player to put next to Giannis Antetokounmpo. It is clear that the Milwaukee Bucks found it important to retain him long-term, and that move will likely payoff for the franchise.
