Even on the brink of elimination, Clippers guard Patrick Beverley does not hold back when it comes to taking shots at his competition.

After no doubt talking trash to the Suns all night long, Beverley was seen mocking Suns star Chris Paul for flopping to the floor towards the end of the third quarter.

The bizarre moment, captured live, went viral on Twitter:

For what it’s worth, the officials called a flagrant 1 on Beverley, perhaps suggesting that there was some real contact on that play. Fortunately, CP3 was okay and suffered no lasting effects.

It didn’t stop the fans from roasting him, as many believed that Paul definitely exaggerated the contact.

With all the stakes on the line, things get pretty intense this far into the postseason. Down 3-1, the Clippers have to win this game if they want to avoid elimination.

Without Kawhi Leonard, and playing in front of a packed arena of Suns fans, the odds are certainly stacked against L.A.

Nevertheless, Beverley and others continuing to fight with their backs against the wall.

We’ll see if their fighting spirit will lead them to victory or if it will only bring out the best in this young and energetic Phoenix squad.
