- Paul George, Karl-Anthony Towns, Ivica Zubac, and Patrick Beverley were all hanging out in Greece
- The players were spotted in a hookah place
- Patrick Beverley was teammates with Karl-Anthony Towns on the Timberwolves, as well as Paul George and Ivica Zubac on the Clippers
We are in the middle of the NBA offseason right now, and a lot of players are vacationing and recuperating ahead of the 2023-24 season. Recently, a group of players was spotted hanging out in Greece.
Recently, we saw Paul George, Ivica Zubac, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Patrick Beverley all hanging out. Beverley seems to be the common link here, having been teammates with George and Zubac on the Clippers and Towns on the Timberwolves. The players were shown smoking hookah, and there were a number of women in the background.
There are a number of NBA players who indulge in hookah during the offseason, and many consider it a fun activity. It remains to be seen if we see some more photos from the players’ vacation at some point in the future.
Karl-Anthony Towns Has Been Featured In Many Trade Rumors This Summer
Even though it is the offseason and players are relaxing right now, the business of the NBA goes on. In fact, Karl-Anthony Towns has featured in a number of trade rumors this offseason, with the New York Knicks notably deciding against moving for the center.
“There were talks between the Timberwolves and other teams before the draft and Towns’ name came up,” Begley said on The Lowe Post podcast. “I don’t know how aggressive the Timberwolves were with Towns, if at all, but the Knicks could have gone there as well, and they clearly have decided not to go there at this point.”
It remains to be seen if Karl-Anthony Towns will, in fact, get traded by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the future. Though he is a good player, given that the team traded away most of their picks for Rudy Gobert, Towns is realistically their pathway to an upgrade. Hopefully, though, they keep him and become a playoff team next season with everyone healthy.
